ABOUT US
Why Homeowners in Bethesda MD
Choose Antpoxy Coatings
There is no shortage of floor coating companies in Maryland, but most of them operate the same way. They send a crew, follow a franchise playbook, and move on to the next job. Antpoxy Coatings was built on a different set of priorities, and the homeowners who choose us do so because they want something that franchise operations are not designed to deliver. When you work with Antpoxy, you get epoxy floor coatings installed by someone who genuinely cares about the outcome of your specific project.
What Makes
Antpoxy Different
You Work Directly With the Owner
Anthony Calderon is not a manager coordinating from a distance. He is on your project from the first conversation through the final coat, and every decision made along the way goes through him personally. That level of direct involvement changes the quality of what gets delivered.
Pricing That Is Fair and Transparent
Antpoxy Coatings is positioned between low-cost contractors who cut corners and overpriced franchise operations that charge for a brand name. We price our work based on what the project actually requires and communicate that clearly before anything begins.
A Business Built on Craftsmanship, Not Volume
Anthony transitioned into running Antpoxy full-time because of a genuine passion for doing this work well, not because it was a fast path to scaling a business. That mindset shows in the detail and care brought to every installation regardless of project size.
No Franchise Formula Applied to Your Floor
Large franchise operations apply the same system to every job because that is how their model works. Antpoxy evaluates each project individually and approaches it based on the actual condition of the floor and the specific goals of the homeowner.
What You Get on Every
Antpoxy Project
A Detail-Oriented Installation Standard
We bring the same level of attention to every project because the outcome of each one reflects directly on Anthony’s reputation. No installation is treated as routine or rushed through to make room for the next one on the schedule.
Honest Communication Throughout
From the initial conversation to the final walkthrough, Anthony communicates clearly about what the project involves, what to expect, and what the finished result will deliver. There are no surprises after the job is done.
Personal Accountability on Every Job
When you hire Antpoxy Coatings, the person you speak with is the same person installing your epoxy floor coatings. That personal accountability is something no franchise model can replicate regardless of how many reviews they have accumulated.
A Warranty You Can Actually Trust
The 15-year limited lifetime warranty against peeling and delamination means something here because the preparation standard and owner involvement behind it are real. It is not a sales tool. It is a commitment backed by how every project is installed.
WHAT IS OUR STANDARD
Choose Antpoxy for Results You Can Take Pride In
Antpoxy Coatings brings craftsmanship, honesty, and direct owner accountability to every floor we install across Maryland. Contact us today to discuss your project across Bethesda, Columbia, Ellicott City, Annapolis, and surrounding areas.

ABOUT US
Meet antpoxy coatings, bethesda's owner-led floor coating experts
Trusted experts for durable epoxy floors
Antpoxy Coatings is a locally operated, owner-run company homeowners across Bethesda MD rely on for garage floors, basements, patios, porches, and sheds. Anthony Calderon founded the company on a straightforward belief: thorough preparation is what determines whether an epoxy floor performs for fifteen years or fails in two.
Calderon's craftsmanship delivers durable epoxy floors
Anthony's foundation in the trade goes back to working alongside his father in concrete, where he developed a hands-on understanding of substrates, slab behavior, and how surface conditions affect the long-term durability of any epoxy floor coating. That background is what sets Antpoxy apart from contractors who follow a script. Anthony reads each concrete floor differently and prepares it accordingly, using professional grade tools and premium materials, never applying a coating to a surface that has not been properly ground, tested, and corrected.
Owner-supervised projects ensure quality and service.
Every project is owner-supervised from consultation to completion. Anthony is personally on every job, overseeing each stage of the process with the same dedicated standard of care regardless of the size of the space. Homeowners deal directly with the person doing the work, not a franchise coordinator or a salesperson who will not be on-site.
